Dr Chowdhury is a highly qualified and experienced eye surgeon. The practice provides a premium eye care service, with an emphasis on personal care, attention and availability to all our patients.

We care for patients with a wide range of eye conditions and needs including patients requiring Cataract Surgery, other refractive procedures, and patients with Glaucoma and Macula Degeneration.

Many patients come to see us for general eye checkups, as well as for monitoring for patients with Diabetes or a family history of eye conditions.

Your Appointment

There are a number of things to consider when you are planning your appointment at Crows Nest Eye Surgery.

Referrals: Always bring your referral with you, whether it is from your GP, Optometrist or another doctor. This allows you to receive some of the cost of the consultation back from Medicare.

Don’t Drive: Always make arrangements for someone to drive you home from you appointment or catch public transport. Nearly all patients require their eyes to be “Dilated” when they come to see the eye doctor. This means that their eyes are blurry and light sensitive for about 2 hours after the visit.
You will not be able to drive in this condition.

Bring a pair of Sunglasses: As your eyes can become light sensitive until the drops wear off, bring a pair of sunglasses to wear.
